Safety Precautions
Warning: In any application, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury and product damage, when handling/installing/using the products.
Handle the products with care. Do NOT roll out it on rough surfaces, or over sharp corner, which may damage the products. Avoid, and do NOT secure the products with staples, nails, or like means that might damage the insulation of the products.
Do NOT use the product if outer jacket is damaged, or if there is loose connections.
Do NOT submerge the product in liquid. once the tube on one end get into water they will be be discharged from the two openings ends , so when used outdoors , two wiring connection point and the end must do waterproof treatment, strictly drip the waterproof glue., and make sure the connection point will not get into water because of temperature changes .Uses must cut the products according to his demand,so the waterproof treatment for those cutting point must be solve by users. And manufacturer is not responsible for the burning lamp’s maintenance and replacement ;
Reliable & proper waterproof measures must be taken during installation and before using in outdoor applications, especially at the both ends and the connecting joints. Any product damage caused by inadequate or improper waterproof actions is fully at buyer’s liabilities. Also, it’s suggested to use our specially-designed silicone sealant which has good adhering performance over PVC body.
Do NOT repeatedly bend the products, or install it on/in places where it is subject to continuous flexing. If only one-side bending is needed in application, it’s suggested to bend in the light over the side with lead wires to avoid breaking the lead wires due to over-extension.
Make sure the product is operated over the specified voltage, and the polarities are correctly configured during installation and before using.
When Connected with the pin , swing around lamp body , cut off the excess copper wire , to avoid short-circuit when insert the pin . the length of copper wire for cutting off subject to the pins can arrive contact with the copper ;
Do NOT puncture, cut or splice the product outside of the designated cutting marks.
Do NOT wind up or tie off the light to avoid destroying the lead wires inside the light. It’s suggested to put the package reel onto a roller, roll it and take off the lights from the package reel straightly to avoid any winding or tie.
In applications where the lights need be installed in an extremely-low-temperature condition, i.e. in winter time of Russia, it’s suggested to warm up the lights for 30 minutes before taking off the lights from the package reel, and before installation. Once it’s installed, do NOT move the lights casually, and it’s always suggested to warm up the lights properly before any action in such an extremely-low-temperature condition.
The strip light is IP44 before doing the waterproof treatment,afting using our waterproof glue can achieve IP65.
Note:If User does not use our waterproof glue or follow the instruction of making waterproof treatment,which cause the water get into the connector,we do not take any after-sale responsibility.Don’t put the high voltage products into the water,if the user put the high voltage strip light into the water and cause any problem, User shoud undertake the responsibility. only low voltage products can be put under the water after doing proper waterproof treatment.
Connecting Instructions
1. Cutting LED Neon Flex
1.1 Count the length of LED Neon Flex you will need for your project, and locate the cutting mark (a mark of shears) on the side of the LED Neon Flex. It’s suggested to light on the lights to identify exact cutting position, which should be in the middle of two parallel-connected circuits, and between two lighting-on LEDs.
1.2 Using anvil shears, make a straight clean cut on the cutting mark. (Warning: Cut must be done on the cutting marks only, otherwise the product may be damaged.) (Tip: Sharp blade will help you make a straight clean cut and avoid pulling the internal wires and damaging the product.)
1.3 Cut off the exposed extra cooper wire if there is any at the cut.
2. Connecting the pin
2.1 Position the LED Neon Flex so that as you look at the cut end the two exposed wires are located on your LEFT hand side.
2.2 Insert the barbed end of the pin into the two strands of wire on the cut of LED Neon Flex by using flat nosed pliers until the plastic collar on the pin seats with the LED Neon Flex. (Tip: Using an awl or similar tool to spread the strands of wire on the cut before inserting, will make it easier to insert the pin and ensure a good contact between the pin and the wire.)
3. Connecting the power cable
3.1 Put a heat shrink tube onto the LED Neon Flex, and slide it back for later use.
3.2 Warm up the power cable cap until it is slightly malleable, using the heat gun.
3.3 Aligning the other end of the pin with the receptacle holes in the power cable cap, and gently push the pins into the holes until a tight fit is attained.
4. Sealing the connecting end
4.1 Using a non-conductive electric grade silicone sealant, seal around the power cable cap with a bead of the sealant until all edges are fully sealed. (This action is not compulsory for indoor application.)
4.2 Slide the heat shrink tube to the connecting joint until the joint is well covered and in its centered position.
4.3 Using the heat gun, gently and evenly warm the heat shrink tube until it is snug to the LED Neon Flex. Be cautious to not over heat the connection as it might damage the heat shrink tube and the power cable, thus damage the insulation/protection.
4.4 After the heating is completed, seal around the both ends of the shrink tube with the silicone sealant used above. (This action is not compulsory for indoor application.)
Attention: Please allow some time for the silicone sealant to cure.
Important description of the waterproofing treatment ( we send pictures for instruction after the purchase the product icon)
a.The end strip light has two holes ,drip the waterproof glue mouth to the hole until full over flow.b. Inject about 5mm depth of the waterproof glue to the end of the products.c. Put the pins in the strip light and drip the waterproof glue to end cap and the wire connector.d.put the end cap and wire connector to the strip light,make sure there is no bubbles in the end cap and wire connector.e.Put on the protection cover.f. After doing waterproofing treatment ,ensure not to touch the location of the waterproofing treatment within 3-5 days.So as to ensure good waterproofing Performance .
5. Installing/sealing the end cap
5.1 Warm up the end cap until it is slightly malleable, using the heat gun.
5.2 Place a small amount of silicone sealant into the interior of the end cap until it can well cover the cut of the LED Neon Flex once the end cap is installed (for outdoor application).
5.3 Push the end cap onto the end of the LED Neon Flex which has two wires visible on the right hand side as you look at the cut, until its back portion can touch the LED Neon Flex.
5.4 Seal the edges with the silicone sealant (for outdoor application).
5.5 Locate a heat shrink tube over the end cap connection, heat it, and seal all the two ends of the heat shrink tube with silicone sealant (for outdoor application).
6. Inter-connection
Pin connectors, two-way straight connectors, L connectors, T connectors are available for inter-connections. Please follow the same measures described above to make the connections.

RGB (240 leds ) Product Installation Notes
when the RGB (240 leds ) product is in the installation, the bend angle is strictly prohibited to bend along the lateral direction of copper wire , see below the left picture shown:
Only to bend along the inside direction of copper wire,see the right picture above:
The bending angle should be bigger or equal to 90 degrees . Prohibited to bend the RGB (240leds) up and down, if customers do not follow above installation instructions to install and cause any damage, our company does not undertake after-sale responsibility .
Note: The mini size and standard size products can be more flexible and multi-angle bend .
